Pamela Fitzpatrick

Independent Parliamentary Candidate for Harrow West

As an independent candidate, I stand for affordable housing, fully funded local services, workers’ rights, and social justice.

My Demands

I am dedicated to addressing the critical challenges facing Harrow West and beyond. My demands focus on creating a fairer, more supportive world where everyone can thrive. Explore my key priorities below and join me in making a positive impact.

Decent, Genuinely Affordable Housing

Bring in rent controls, tackle rogue landlords, end no-fault evictions, justice for leaseholders, build more council homes not luxury developments.

Fully Funded NHS and Local Services

Reverse cuts to local services, guarantee GP appointments within 24 hours, end the privatisation of our NHS, increase support for children with special needs, provide spaces where young people can flourish.

Justice for Palestine

Call for an immediate permanent ceasefire in Gaza, end the occupation and apartheid, stop arms sales to countries violating human rights, ethical foreign policy.

Workers' Rights

Increase the minimum wage to at least £15/hour, ban zero-hours contracts, guarantee workers’ rights from day one, repeal anti-trade union laws.

Green Industrial Revolution

Bring energy, transport and water into public ownership, halt all future oil and gas extraction, insulate homes to cut bills and emissions and create good jobs.

Real Social Security

Abolish work capability assessments, the two-child limit and benefit cap, restore the national council tax benefit scheme, increase access to legal aid, end the punitive sanction regime.

I, Pamela Fitzpatrick, will always stand up for the people of Harrow West

My name is Pamela Fitzpatrick, and I am running as an independent candidate for Harrow West, where I live, work, and raise my family. I founded a local charity in 2010 to provide free legal advice, helping thousands with housing, benefits, and immigration issues. I’ve served as a local councillor, Chair of Governors, and trustee for a youth charity, seeing firsthand the problems caused by service cuts, long GP wait times, and lack of support for children with special needs.

I am very concerned about Harrow’s housing crisis, with too many luxury properties that most people can’t afford, especially affecting those in private rentals. As a member of our diverse community, I understand the impact of global conflicts and believe in the need for compassionate leadership. I am part of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign and the Peace and Justice Project, advocating for social justice, peace, and human rights in Harrow and beyond.

Why Harrow West needs change

Representation who understands our community

I am deeply rooted to the community in Harrow West. I have lived, worked and raised my family here, as a result understand exactly the issues and pressures that confront this community – this is the agenda for my candidacy rather than representing the interests of a mainstream party as a “whipped” MP.

Challenging the cuts to local services

It’s clear to all who know Harrow West that reversing the devastating cuts to our local services is desperately needed. I am dedicated to ensuring our schools, healthcare, and support services receive the funding they need. Our community deserves access to quality public services that support everyone's well-being.
